weell here i am, talking about toast. i have made something that i believe will revolutionise toast itself. it began about a month and a half ago, when, modelately drunk, i decided that i wanted cinnamon toast. now, being that im living with people and the like, random appliances work one day and then break the next, so our toaster was, well, toast. so i decided in my state that it was the best thing to throw all the ingredients into a frying pan, with extra butter. leaving it in the pan on a low heat i left it for a few minutes for a shiny object, and when i returned it was a glorious mixture if caramel, cinnamon, bread and butter. im writing about it because i have spent the last month and a half perfecting the recipe, and im posting it so you can tell me what you think.
note: all these measurements are guesstimates.
Ingredients:
1 slice of bread
1/4 cup of sugar
2 7mm thick butter slices from a block
1 dash of cinnamon
Method:
>heat the pan on about 65% heat, just to melt the butter and get it golden
>add the sugar, and then add the rest of the butter
>stir, and add cinnamon to taste
>turn down the stove to just under halfway and let the butter and sugar sit until the sugar fully melts and goes gold
> add the bread, give it about a minute to cook, then flip it over and get the rest of the caramel and butter.

serve with melted butter.
the bread should have soaked up the sweetened butter, then been glazed by the caramel.
it is really delicious if you have a sweet tooth, but may shorten your life span due to concentration of sugar and oils.
